Module A: Basics of genomic medicine

Teaching days6 days
Scope ECTS-KP5 ECTS-KP
Module leader

Prof.  Dr.  Andreas Huber

This module deals with the molecular, biochemical and functional principles of genomic medicine. Detailed basics and current scientific findings are taught. This module lays the foundation for the subsequent clinical and social issues in the field of genetics. Practical laboratory work is also carried out and an insight into modern genetic diagnostics is provided. The participants of the CAS will be informed comprehensively about the biological facts of the genome and generics.
