Doctorate medical science

A complete written application must be submitted to UFL within the publicly announced application period. The application includes:

• the completed application form
• a curriculum vitae with a passport photograph
• the original or a certified copy of the diplomas
• a copy of the passport or identity card
• a letter of motivation

If the applicant wishes to have credits for work already completed for the doctoral programme (in the case of a change of programme or university), any application for credits for work already completed must be enclosed with the application documents. This application contains a detailed description of the content and scope of the work performed.

The tuition fee for the doctoral programme in medical science (Dr. scient. med.) at UFL is CHF 27,750 (CHF 1,250 registration fee and CHF 26,500 for eight semesters). Invoices are issued for each semester. Please refer to the registration form for details.
