Accreditation

Accreditation is intended to ensure national and international recognition of degrees by ensuring the quality of teaching and study and at the same time to provide universities, students and employers with reliable guidance on the quality of study programmes.

The part-time doctoral programme in medical science "Dr. scient. med." was accredited by the German accreditation agency ACQUIN until 30 September 2016 in autumn 2011 and extended until 30 September 2018 in summer 2016. In 2017, the UFL will re-accredit the medical science doctorate programme "Dr. scient. med.”

The doctoral programme in law "Dr. iur." was accredited in autumn 2014 by the German accreditation agency ACQUIN until 30 September 2018. In 2018, the UFL will bring the "Dr. iur." doctoral programme in law into examination for re-accreditation.
