Born on 28 July 1975 in Dornbirn, Austria; studied medicine at Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck; Doctorate in medicine (2001), training as a specialist in internal medicine at the Academic Teaching Hospital Feldkirch (2001–2007), scientific work at the Vorarlberg Institute for Vascular Investigation and Treatment (VIVIT Institute), habilitation in internal medicine at the Medical University of Innsbruck (2007), Appointed Professor of Preventive Cardiology at the UFL (October 2014).
