The Private University in the Principality of Liechtenstein (UFL) sees itself as a modern university with a commitment to promoting independent teaching and research. It actively contributes to the diversity of the higher education landscape in Liechtenstein, strengthens Triesen as a centre of education and cultivates cooperation with national and international partner institutions.
With its scientific congresses, conferences and symposia, the UFL regularly creates platforms for academic exchange and networking between research, teaching and practice. All events are embedded in the work of the faculties and institutes and follow a clear scientific profile.

All UFL conferences and symposia are free of charge for participants.

In 2026, the UFL will host the 5th International Last Aid Conference entitled ‘Innovative Ways in Last Aid for Caring Communities’ for the Hospice Movement Liechtenstein, Last Aid International and the Last Aid Research Group International (LARGI) in collaboration with the Liechtenstein Ageing and Health Care Association (LAK).
