Born in 1965 in Lustenau, Austria. Studied social and economic sciences at the Leopold Franzens University of Innsbruck. Earned a doctorate in 2004 (Dr. rer. soc. oec.). Worked in product management at an industrial company in Vorarlberg (1995–1997). Executive Assistant and Program Controller at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (1997–1999). Head of Administration at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (1998–2000). Head of Quality Management and Construction Manager at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (since 2000).
The areas of expertise include quality management and organizational development in higher education. Key areas of focus are the accreditation and evaluation of degree programs, audits, the design and implementation of graduate and career tracking studies, and the development of innovative space-use concepts for modern teaching, learning, and work environments.
