Dr Heinz Frommelt has been a member of the Faculty of Law’s Academic Advisory Board since 2016 and a member of the University Council since 2019.
A native of Liechtenstein, he has over 40 years of professional experience and specialises in tax law, mutual legal assistance, banking law, fund and insurance law, and company law. In addition to his role as a partner at NSF, Vaduz, Dr Heinz Frommelt holds various board positions.
Heinz Frommelt studied law at the University of Zurich from 1980 to 1985, graduating with a licentiate in law. He subsequently undertook postgraduate research at the University of Zurich from 1985 to 1988, obtaining a doctorate in law (Dr. iur.).
From 1997 to 2001, he served as Minister of Justice in the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein, during which time he implemented numerous reforms.
On 11 May 2026, Dr Heinz Frommelt was appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for a Private University in the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Dr Heinz Frommelt has more than 35 years’ professional experience and specializes in the fields of tax law, legal assistance, banking law, fund and insurance law as well as corporate law. In addition to working as a partner for NSF, Vaduz, Dr Heinz Frommelt holds various directorships.
