Dr. scient. med. Daniela Purin

Daniela Purin has more than twelve years of experience in medical research. Her principal areas of expertise include the planning and conduct of scientific studies as well as the statistical analysis of non-clinical and clinical research data. In her work, she combines methodological expertise with interdisciplinary knowledge across various fields of the social and health sciences.

From 2019 to 2024, she worked as a Research Associate at the Faculty of Medical Science of the UFL. Between 2021 and 2023, she played a key role in establishing the Institute of Translational Medicine (ITM). Her principal responsibilities included contributing to the strategic development and academic profile of the Institute, securing third-party research funding, and developing the necessary research infrastructure, including the establishment of a laboratory.

As of 1 January 2024, she left the ITM and has since focused on her responsibilities within the Research Office. Since 2026, she has additionally headed the UFL International Office. In this capacity, she is primarily responsible for the coordination and administrative implementation of the Erasmus+ Programme as well as for matters relating to international mobility.
