Martina Hofmann ist seit 2014 Juristin im Büro des Bundesamtes für Sicherheit im Gesundheitswesen, welches Teil des Geschäftsfelds Medizinmarktaufsicht der österreichischen Agentur für Gesundheit und Ernährungssicherheit ist. Zu den von Ihr vorwiegend betreuten Bereichen gehören die Arzneimittelzulassung, Klinische Prüfungen für Arzneimittel, das Inspektionswesen (GMDP) sowie Blut- und Gewebesicherheit. Sie ist Mitautorin des Gmundner Kommentars für Medizinrecht, sowie Vortragende im Universitätslehrgang Medizinrecht der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz.

Short introduction

Martina Hofmann works as part of the legal team at the Bureau of the Federal Office für Safety in Health Care/AGES, the Austrian national competent authority for medicinal products and medical devices. Her work focus lies in marketing authorization and clinical trials of medicinal products, GMDP inspections and blood and tissue safety. Martina Hofmann is one of the authors of the Austrian Gmundner commentary on medical law and a guest lecturer for the postgradual medicinal law program at the Johannes Kepler University Linz.
